Who will you Listen to?
WHO WILL YOU LISTEN TO?
The voice of motivational speakers is: DO WHAT YOU FIND EASY DOING.
Do what is comfortable, that very thing which you can easily do and perhaps find joy in doing, is your talent they say. Perhaps you have heard this before or may be later you will.
But, what if, what God is calling you to is a difficult thing, a mountain that He wants you take, which is in no wise simple. What if that thing you think it is difficult is what He wants to use to build you…?
What if He has called you to do some major big things that are ordinarily difficult and are unfamiliar to you?
Will you choose the ABC nursery writing, spoken to you by the soothe talkers or will you rise up and pick the pen to write the gigantic novel he has called you to?
To you who have chosen simple, based on the smartness sold to you, can you ask Him to speak to you and reveal to you, His plan and purpose. It may seem difficult or not, but be rest assured whatever He has said, He does it — He grants you power to execute it. Listen and come now.
And to you willing to mount that mountain, there is hope, He has said it in His word –
Isaiah 42:16 MSG: “…But I’ll take the hand of those who don’t know the way, who can’t see where they’re going. I’ll be a personal guide to them, directing them through unknown country. I’ll be right there to show them what roads to take, make sure they don’t fall into the ditch. These are the things I’ll be doing for them — sticking with them, not leaving them for a minute.”
Isaiah 42:16 NIV: “I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them”
The path that seems so strange and you are unfamiliar with, He will help and guide you through to EXCEL and SUCCEED.
But then who will you listen to — His voice or their words?
